Machine Jigs, Fixtures, and Templates

Machine Jigs have a pattern of pre-drilled, tapped, reamed, and counter-sunk holes, sometimes include t-slots or scribed lines, and are used as work holding templates to mount other parts upon and to hold them down during the Machining process.

We accept CAD Drawings, Hand Drawings, Emailed, and Faxed drawings. This is an example of a hand-edited Jig CAD-FILE.

The shop Drawing above depicts the machined jig to the right.

These JIG TEMPLATES allow us to drill holes in different size and dimensioned arcs, 10 arches at a time. See the picture to the right.

The Seiki CNC Machine is nearly through drilling more than 180 holes in this small jig.

We flame cut, grind, and machine workholding clamps, such as the t-fixture members alongside the triangular clamping heels. 1-2-3 blocks and 2-4-6 blocks (not shown) are a machinist's bread-and-butter measuring and workholding clamps. There are over 180 holes in this template.
